INITIAL INTERVIEW: For prospective clients interested in a new custom home, we offer, without charge, a one-hour initial interview at our office. We will discuss with you your aspirations for your new home, including its spaces, functionality and appearance. We will also discuss our qualifications, the process, and any questions or concerns. It is helpful to provide ahead of this meeting a land survey and any other available information about the home site.

ENGAGEMENT for FULL SERVICES: After the initial interview, we would sign a standard AIA Owner-Architect agreement for full architectural services.
ADDITIONS AND RENOVATIONS:
INITIAL INTERVIEW: For prospective clients interested in a major addition or renovation, we offer, without charge, a one-hour initial interview at our office. We will discuss with you your aspirations for your project, including its spaces, functionality, appearance and relationship to the existing home. We will also discuss our qualifications, the process, and any questions or concerns. It is helpful to provide ahead of this meeting a land survey and drawing or photographs of the existing home, and any other available information.

DESIGN CONSULTATION: For clients considering an addition or renovation to their home, we offer consultation at your home where we will share our expertise as to design possibilities and their feasibility, potential construction cost, etc. We will sketch solutions as necessary to communicate concepts. A follow-up report is optional. It is helpful to provide ahead of this consultation a land survey and drawings or photographs of the existing home, and any other available information. A design consultation is billed at our hourly rates, with a 2-hour minimum. Travel time is not billed unless the project is outside of the New Orleans Metropolitan area.

Or…
ENGAGEMENT for LIMITED SERVICES: For some renovation and addition projects it may be sufficient for us to provide limited architectural services. Under this arrangement we would necessarily include documentation and/or confirmation of existing conditions, and certain construction drawings that we would agree upon at the time of signing a letter agreement. You will procure, hire and work with your contractor to see the project through construction.
